Dr.-Ing. Alexander Gitis received a PhD from RWTH Aachen University in the field of lithium-ion batteries. Subsequently, he worked as a post-doc and area coordinator at a DFG research group. During his career, he managed numerous development projects. In early 2019, he co-founded SAFION, which he has led as CEO since incorporation. Dr. Gitis has been working in battery technology for more than 15 years and is an experienced speaker as well as an expert in the diagnosis and quality assurance of lithium-ion batteries.
